    Palace backs proposals on tuition hike moratorium -- Bunye


    Malacañang supports proposals for a moratorium on tuition increases for the coming school year.

    This was revealed by Press Secretary Ignacio R. Bunye who added that if schools should increase tuition at all, the said increases should be within “reasonable” limits.

    In a radio interview, the Press Secretary did not say how many percent or how much increase is reasonable, but recalled that the Arroyo administration has been trying to make life easy for Pilipinos, especially for the poor.
